Take the stress out of your next digital project

Managing a web platform for a mission-led organisation means high content turnarounds, tricky deadlines, and lots of plate-spinning. If you’re starting a new digital project, surprises are the last thing you need. Our discovery workshop removes uncertainty, giving you a calm, structured way to pause, understand, and plan – without the usual stress.

This way, we gain shared clarity and confident decisions, before commitment. Rather than jumping to conclusions that could fall flat, we can look at the bigger picture – uncovering the real challenges and mapping a clear path forward for your digital platform, while making sure your next steps are fast and built to last.

Why discovery matters

When you invest time, money, and resources in your digital platform, you want to get it right, first time. Our website discovery phase makes sure we’re solving the right problems before a single line of code is written.
This benefits digital leads, product owners, and comms managers by:

  • Understanding your users so the digital platform is accessible for the people who matter
  • Mapping your goals, workflows, and priorities so you can focus on your mission
  • Identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities before they become headaches
  • Setting a clear roadmap, budget, and timeline, so you’re never left second-guessing (and can easily report to stakeholders)

All of this makes sure your investment goes further: no wasted effort, less stress, and no future rebuilds.

Our purpose-led process

Every great web platform starts with knowing exactly what needs to happen, why, and how. Whether you’re kicking off a brand-new build or looking for a long-term digital partner, our approach brings clarity, confidence, and control from day one.

Platform and website audit services

We dig deep into your existing platform with our website audit service. That means carrying out detailed website UX auditing to spot what’s working, what’s not, and where there’s room to improve. We’ll look at everything from user journeys and accessibility through to performance and security – so nothing slips through the cracks.

Discovery

Discovery workshops

We bring your team into the process, mapping stakeholders, workflows, and priorities together. This allows us to unearth hidden challenges, streamline decision-making, and make sure everyone has a voice at the table. It also helps that we truly understand your sector: crafting powerful web solutions for charities, nonprofits, think tanks, and the education industry.

Strategy

Roadmap and recommendations

At the end of our website discovery phase, you’ll walk away with a clear, prioritised roadmap for your digital platform: what needs doing, how long it’ll take, what it’ll cost, and the order it makes sense to tackle it.

The power of discovery

We’ve refined our discovery process over decades, and can always develop a watertight strategy – regardless of complexity. For instance, when Power for Democracies came to us with a broad wishlist and only six weeks until the launch of its digital platform, we organised a deep discovery session to find out the team’s goals, target audiences, what they wanted to achieve, and how they planned to do it.

To get things moving as soon as possible and de-risk the project, we split the delivery into three parts – letting us launch fast without losing sight of the bigger picture. That phased approach gave everyone clarity, kept stress low, and laid a solid foundation for future growth.

Smooth, steady, surprise-free

We believe good work is built on good partnerships. Starting with discovery workshops, through to prototyping, sign-off, and support, every step of our process is clear and collaborative. This way, you’re never in the dark about progress, decisions, or priorities. We listen, we advise, and we work with your team for smoother launches and ongoing success. If you’re in the early stages of your project, discovery is a brilliant step in the right direction.
